Identifying Mascots?

Question from Roger Harmon: Good Morning, I have a couple mascot questions. I just bought one on an on-line auction. It appears to be original and authentic. It's missing it's fist & sword, so if anybody's willing to make a clay mold of one please let me know. Mine has a scabbard behind his left leg. The other ones I've seen on-line look like the danbury mint miniature; no scabbard. Does anyone know how to date the versions, or how many versions there are? Here's the one I bought:
